Like the surrealists, this collection of lamps shows an enormous interest in organic forms as an inexhaustible source of poetic images. One of the symbols that Dalí usually used is the egg. And it is precisely the egg, this form of Nature on which they have based themselves to create this collection, a good example of contrast between a hard shell and a soft interior. This interior-exterior contrast sifts the light, seeking a regular, evenly distributed and indirect illumination.
